Ethical Standards for Practitioners – Part 4

Professional integrity and strong values are essential to attracting and retaining clients long-term in the pension industry.  Practitioners vary dramatically across the industry with their ethical standards.  The International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (ISCEBS) has a list for their members on their web site located at http://www.iscebs.org/About/Pages/PrinciplesofConduct.aspx.  The organization has some great basics in their  Code of Conduct.  These items include following laws and being honest.   A great addition would be the ramifications of violating the code.
