Fee Disclosure Expectations

There has been a great deal of discussion regarding the new fee disclosures.  The following article from The Daily News by Phyllis Furman at http://www.nydailynews.com/news/money/ready-aha-moment-401-fee-disclosure-article-1.1101842 expresses some concerns.  An interesting statistic stated that a Charles Schwab survey indicated that a surprising 95% of participants did not know their 401(k) plan’s funds’ expenses. Even after years in the industry, my jaw dropped.  Despite the whining from a lot of industry members, it is clear how much the required disclosures are needed!
