Managing Income in Retirement

The Society of Actuaries (SOA) has added some great tools for retirement planning to their website that I wanted to continue to highlight this week.  Today, I wanted to recommend the SOA’s Designing a Monthly Paycheck for Retirement located at http://www.soa.org/assets/DownloadAsset.aspx?id=30089.  The article goes beyond social security checks, and looks at annuities and other withdrawals as ways of creating a monthly income after retirement.   What I particularly like is how simple and straightforward the annuity explanations are in this article.  A great item to share with anyone in retirement or getting close to that date!
