The Society of Actuaries (SOA) has added some great tools for retirement planning to their website that I wanted to continue to highlight this week.  Today, I wanted to recommend the SOA’s Deciding When to Claim Social Security located at http://www.soa.org/assets/DownloadAsset.aspx?id=30084.  The article has a nice discussion regarding when you can start and potential tax considerations.  In addition, they have advice geared to whether you are single, part of a couple, or a widow.

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day!   Please be sure to subscribe to my blog and follow me on twitter@ChristineGurney.
