When You Resign as a Fiduciary

The EBSA has a resource about terminating as fiduciary for retirement plans on their website at http://www.dol.gov/elaws/ebsa/fiduciary/q4k.htm. If you are a plan fiduciary, you can terminate your duties as fiduciary. However, you must ensure that there is a fiduciary in charge of the plan and following through with their responsibilities.
