Fiduciary Duty and Loyalty

The concept of loyalty in regards to fiduciary duty is discussed in an article, “How Walt Disney Showed Us What the Fiduciary Duty of Loyalty Means to Investors”, by Christopher Carosa, CTFA, located at http://fiduciarynews.com/2012/09/how-walt-disney-showed-us-what-the-fiduciary-duty-of-loyalty-means-to-investors/.  The article mentions the importance of loyalty and working in the best interest of the plan.  I feel the author is smart to caution that not all plan professionals may be subject to the fiduciary standard, but that it is still wise to look out for your client’s interests.
