Investment Diversification Article for 401(k) and Other Participant Directed Plans

Reuters has a nice article, ” Diversify your 401(k) in 9 easy steps”, by A. Michael Lipper located at  The author suggests nine basic types of funds to include in your retirement plan line up.  An easy to understand source and summary.  In addition, he makes a comment regarding how he would like to also see a managed account.  That idea is another consideration for plan sponsors.
